Nomination Form

The next Riley Mayors’ Design Fellowship Workshop will take place March 25 – 27, 2026.  A nominating committee will select a diverse class of four – six Mayors based on potential for innovative and visionary leadership, cooperative spirit and an ability to rally diverse interests around a common goal for the good of the community.  Nominations for the 2026 Workshop are now closed! 

Ideal nominees should meet the following requirements:

• current Mayor
• at least two years remaining in term
• have a vision for a physical design project or improvement in his or her city or town that will positively impact quality of life, the built or natural environment, and/or economic development
• possess a receptive attitude towards input from experts in planning, design, development and/or financing as well as fellow mayors
• available to participate in the Design Workshop planned for March 25 – 27, 2026
